At Fleecefield we believe that wearing school uniform is an important display of commitment to the school and gives a sense of belonging to the children. We hope that parents and carers will support our policy of wearing school uniform. Please ensure all items of clothing must be labelled with the child’s name.

Uniform List

  • Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore (elasticated jogging/tracksuit bottoms for nursery).
  • White shirt, blouse or polo shirt (white polo shirt for nursery).
  • Purple sweatshirt, fleece, reversible jacket or girls sweat cardigan, with or without school logo.
  • Nursery/Reception) – Black suitable footwear with Velcro fastening (No laces).

Nursery/Reception only

  • Spare clothes in a labelled pull-string bag to include: – a top, bottoms, socks & underwear

(For reception this is in addition to the PE kit).

Summer Uniform List

  • Grey shorts
  • Summer dress (purple gingham)

PE Kit

All children take part in regular PE lessons (Reception to Year 6), and it is vital that children always have a kit available in school. A named PE bag is suitable for this purpose (pull string bag not rucksacks). Children have PE lessons in the hall, in the playground or on the field. Please note PE bags are sold from the School Office.

  • Black plimsolls
  • Navy / Black shorts / tracksuits or leggings for winter wear
  • White T-shirt
  • Spare socks (spare underwear for Reception).

Swimming in Key Stage 2

  • One piece swimming costume or trunks
  • Towel / swimming hat

Personal Property

No jewellery is to be worn for school except for children with pierced ears who should wear studs. This is for health and safety reasons.
Money should only be brought to school for a specific reason e.g. School trips.
Any valuables, e.g. keys, mobiles or essential monies should be left with the office staff at the start of the day.
Children may wear a watch for school, but must be responsible for it.
We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any watches or jewellery.

Football shirts are not appropriate for school.

Children are expected to take responsibility for any personal property brought to school.
