PE Challenge - Week 5 

Challenge number 1)

Speed Bounce -

Equipment:  

  • Something small to jump over

  • A Timer

 

Place your small object on the floor.

Stand next to your small object.

Jump over your small object and repeat over and over again.

Do this for 20 seconds.

After your 20 seconds record how many jumps you were able to do.

 

1 Jump = 1 point


Do this everyday until Friday and try and set a new high score.

Challenge number 2)

Shuttle Runs

 

Equipment: 

  • Two (2) socks

  • A timer/ stopwatch

 

Place one sock on the floor.

Walk 10 steps forward and place the 2nd sock on the floor.

Now get your timer/stopwatch ready.

Run from one sock to another for 30 seconds.

After your 30 seconds record how many times you can run from sock to sock.

 

Running to a sock = 1 point 

 

Do this everyday until Friday and try and set a new high score.

Challenge number 3)

Throwing Accuracy! - Competition time!

 

Try and challenge yourself and a family member to see who can win this fun throwing game!
(See video below)

Equipment:

 

 

  • Five (5) sheets of paper. (Number each paper number 1-5)

  • Five (5) Socks

Set your 5 pieces of paper on the floor in number order. (1,2,3,4 & 5)

Place paper numbered 1 closest to your feet and paper numbered 5 furthest away.
Now throw 1 sock at a time towards your numbered pieces of paper.

Whichever paper your socks lands on. That is how many points you get.

 

Paper 1 = 1 point

Paper 2 = 2 points

Paper 3 = 3 points

Paper 4 = 4 points

Paper 5 = 5 points

 

Add the scores from your 5 attempts together.

The most points you can get is 25 points!!
