Hours: 34 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum (term time only)
Actual Salary Range:   £20,062 - £20,392 p.a inc (Scale 3)

Hours:  8.30am – 4.00pm 2 days and 8.30- 3.30pm 3 days
Contract Term:  Permanent
Start Date: April 2023

  • have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • have a proven ability of delivering positive behaviour management skills

Fleecefield Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly skilled music practitioner with leadership qualities, management skills and the drive necessary to deliver a high-quality music curriculum across the school, including lessons, assemblies, productions and extra-curricular activities. Music has always been an integral part of our school life and we wish to maintain the high provision we offer our pupils.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a clear vision for promoting music within the school

  • Be an outstanding practitioner with experience of working in a similar role or able to demonstrate a strong musical background

  • Have a clear understanding of Curriculum design and how to engage pupils in their learning

  • Be highly organised, proactive and reflective

  • Possess effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrate effective teaching strategies and build excellent professional relationships with colleagues

  • Be accountable for leading and motivating others in raising standards for our pupils

  • Be willing to organise and lead extra-curricular clubs and activities relating to music
